The Veronika Portsmuth Choir Academy Concert Choir and Chamber Choir invite you to the newly opened Ukuaru Music House for a concert dedicated to Mother Language Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
On the occasion of Mother Language Day, the concert will feature brilliant works of Estonian choral music and timeless and touching patriotic music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program will feature works by Alo Mattiisen on the occasion of his 65th birthday and the 100th birthday of the composer Lembit Veevo. Works by Veljo Tormis, Arvo P\u00e4rt, Ren\u00e9 Eespere, and others will also be performed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The concert will be tied together by core texts of Estonian poetry and improvisational folk song arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
