In December 2025, the Veronika Portsmuth Choir Academy will hold its grand year-end concerts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
At this year\u2019s traditional concert, a tribute will be paid to one of the great figures of Estonian music \u2014 the world-renowned and highly acclaimed composer Arvo P\u00e4rt, who celebrates his 90th anniversary this year, and to his magnificent body of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The central piece of the concert will be “Te Deum”, written 40 years ago, for three choirs, piano, string orchestra, and tape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In collaboration with the VENTUMI Orchestra (conductor Edmar Tuul) and professional musicians, listeners will experience the Hymn of St. Ambrose through Arvo P\u00e4rt\u2019s composition \u2014 a majestic panorama of sounds inspired by the mountains.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
