The Veronika Portsmuth Choir Academy was created to open up and develop new perspectives in choral music culture, bringing to life special and unique major musical projects and offering self-improvement in an unconventional form with a novel approach for both choir singers and conductors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Portsmuth’s interest in chamber operas and Nordic music has found expression in the Nordic choral music concert series and in performances of Helena Tulve and Sunleif Rasmussen’s chamber operas in Tallinn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, she has also released 2 solo albums with arrangements of Lembit Veevo’s choral music and her own music, which is inspired by the Faroe Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She has been a conductor at several song festivals, and was the artistic director of the 2011 youth song festival Maa ja ilm<\/em>.
